Detailed Agenda

Agenda topics subject to change

9:40 am: Registration, Signature Refreshments, Peer Networking On arrival you will be greeted for check-in, vendor area is open along with the main presentation room with refreshments being served on arrival. First speaker is on shortly after. This time is spent networking with your peers and vendors.

10:00 am: Your Partner in Security.
Any computer within your network that is connected to the Internet, directly or indirectly, is a potential risk for an attack from viruses or external attackers. Before you invest in the latest expensive technology, it’s important to plan properly. Many companies have spent considerable resources protecting their perimeter networks but have allowed their internal infrastructure to remain extremely vulnerable.

10:20 am: Hyper-converged Secondary Storage for Backup
Are you challenged by managing and protecting ever-increasing amounts of data and how to do so at less cost? Deploying an effective backup storage solution requires deduplication but how you implement it will have a major impact on the cost and performance of your backup environment for the next three to five years. During this presentation, you'll learn what to look for in a hyper-converged secondary storage for backup solution to ensure you make the right choice to get the fastest backups for the shortest backup window, fastest restores, instant VM recoveries in seconds to minutes, a fixed length backup window even as data grows, and fast, reliable offsite disaster recovery.

10:45 am: AI for IT Operations that can predict revenue impacting business outages
It’s the next generation of IT operations analytics, or ITOA. And its value is in helping organizations address IT challenges on a number of fronts. These challenges include:

- The increasing complexity and dynamic nature of IT architectures
- Digital business transformation
- Siloed IT operations
-Exponential growth of uncorrelated data

All of the above render traditional, domain-centric monitoring and IT operations management inadequate. Such systems can’t correlate the onslaught of data various IT domains create. What’s more, they’re unable to provide the insights IT operations teams need to proactively manage their environments. And that just doesn’t work.

IT organizations need a new class of technology to modernize the IT operations process. This technology needs to be able to correlate millions of data points across all IT domains. It should have the smarts to apply machine learning to detect patterns. And it should present that information so organizations can easily see what’s happening and gain insights.

11:20 am: The Future of High Performance Storage.
NVMe is the future of high performance that can unleash the power of persistent memory to address the performance needs of the most demanding applications in the data center. Learn how to accelerate your analytics, big data and real-time applications with the storage that delivers performance at the speed of memory to make your data come alive.

11:45 am - Overcoming the Pain-Points of Remote IT Support via Modern and Efficient Techniques.
"In retrospect, creating an IT Infrastructure is “easy”, maintaining it is “difficult” and supporting it is “daunting.” It is estimated that 75% of a typical IT budget is spent on simply maintaining and supporting existing IT operations!
IT support is not just about fixing technical problems. It is the art of detecting and resolving issues arising from humans interacting with technology.

When dealing with non-technical users, you must constantly factor in the unexpected - including a high dose of human frustration. Using real-life examples, this session will discuss how engineers can streamline their remote IT support via background management while eliminating their reliance on end-users for triage and access to critical system information. We will also show how IT process automation can help organizations get out of the constant firefighting mode.

12:00 pm:Lunch Served, Vendor Networking and Prize Giveaways. This concludes our speaker sessions, but we encourage you to enjoy lunch, network and discuss the days topic and reach out to any of our vendors and/or speakers for any addtional information. Thank you for your time and particpation in our event
